Primary Responsibilities

  • The Financial Analyst will oversee the financial analysis for all ABODA divisions and be responsible for coordinating the annual budget process. The Financial Analyst will maximize the financial performance of the company by analyzing data, developing and implementing effective revenue and expense management programs and strategies. They will work closely with Senior Management to develop investment and operating pro-forma’s as well as providing analysis and guidance in forecasting, pricing and staffing models. This position will also work closely with the accounting and CRM teams to develop reporting, dashboards and business analytics for both internal and external use.
  • Maximize and track ABODA’s key performance indicators on a daily basis
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process
  • Identify financial trends by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Develop a comprehensive forecasting model for all divisions
  • Develop and prepare pro forma analyses for capital investments, M&A activity and new market expansion
  • Oversee pricing models and provide revenue and profitability analyses by account, vertical and region.
  • Analyze and interpret monthly P&L results, research and explain variances, identify trends and recommend actions to management
  • Prepare monthly P&L variance reports by division and work with Senior Management on production of the monthly Executive Summary

Additional Responsibilities

  • Increase productivity by developing cost and staffing models.
  • Develop Client Reporting
  • Track competition pricing
  • Compile data for RFP responses

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a financial analyst or accounting role in a fast paced, team oriented environment. Experience in the hospitality, extended stay or multifamily housing industry a plus but not required. Excellent financial modeling and interpersonal skills a must.
  • Possess an understanding of accounting theory and systems and financial analysis techniques and procedures
  • Very strong financial modeling skills plus familiarity with systems such as CRM, general ledger and BI
  • Needs to be self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • • Must have strong organizational and creative problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of management
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work efficiently and accurately

Education, Training and Certification

  • 4 year college degree required, with an emphasis in finance or accounting
  • MBA a plus
